Blog Problems!

Sorry, i have not been keeping up to date with my blog, either i don't know what im doing or its just not working with a lot of the features which makes me frusterated!! Many people are not able to comment, therefore i feel as though im talking to myself which i do without writing it! Anyways if anyone can help or have suggestions let me know! Last weekend i headed home with nicole and we had quite the adventure on the way home, taking us 4 hours to get home and many cars in ditches, im suprised nicole is able to use her hands after gripping on for dear life! It was nice to see everyone and get away from the big city life for a few days! I hadn't seen my nephew Zander in a long time, were i was used to seeing him every week and boy is he the never ending energizing bunny! I think he entertained us all every waking hour he was awake! On saturday my cousin Elizabeth had a baby shower for her son Ethan and was my first time meeting him, and also got to see my grandma Karen! So far this week has been pretty uneventful, went to go see Slum Dog Millionaire monday night to see if the oscars were right about best performing movie! It was a good movie! I would also recommend Gran Torino and Taken, both good movies! This Friday Ellen and I are traveling down to Rochester to stay the night with my cousin Matt. Chester Bay is playing down there that night so we are going to go listen to them, Something im really looking forward too! Saturday i get to babysit for the two boys i used to nanny for, kinda actually miss them i even gave up going to hockey just for them..not the money!..riight! Well still in the process of looking for a job..again frusterating..i found a nanny job for this summer i applied for but have been waiting since monday to hear back, and i think i check my mail every hour it sounds like a great job and its for two girls which i always seem to be watching boys! I don't have a picture yet but my mom made me a nice purse that i love! Thanks Mom!! She whipped it up this weekend while i was home! Well hope everyone is doing well and i hope the weather man is WRONG about the snow tomorrow!! Spring and warm weather Please!!!

Valentines Day Love?

Hope Everyone had a great Valentines Weekend! For me, i celebrated singles awareness day, and found as the day went on it got more depressing seeing all the couples! Well we didnt let that stop us! I enjoyed an afternoon at the MOA just browsing and enjoying of course a latte with Ellen (my v-day date). The mall was absolutely crazy and we spent more time driving there and trying to get into the parking lot then in the mall. After that we headed back to get ready for the night. We had a very romantic dinner at Sally's Saloon on campus before going to the Gopher Hockey Game, which we finally got a win!! We actually left early in the 3rd period because it just was not tooo exciting. After that we went to Blarneys, where i may have just found the love of my life on Valentines day! (i wish!) Every Saturday night they have a band play, and we got their kind of early when they were just starting and at the first break two guys one being the lead singer and guitarist came up and introduced themselves and as being single! well the friend more less introduced the singer and himself! Anyways i thought the singer was soo cute before he came over and, well i got to meet him! After that i was loooove struck! During the second break i went up and asked him for a picture with him, He warned me he was sweaty and smelt bad and then continued to tell me i smelt good! kinda funny! but ill take the compliment! we had a short talk after and i was soooo nervous and made stupid comments im sure of it, because i just kept wanting to talk! I will post the picture of me and him as soon as ellen gets it on her computer for you all to see! Oh and i forgot to mention he gave me a Demo CD!! AND..he will be back at Blarneys March 7th..i looked on their website! So you know where ill be March 7th if you need to reach me! Today is pretty chill, just at Caribou and just got done writing a paper. Going to get some Groceries for the week and then Ellen's parents are coming up to take us out to eat at Kafe 421 (highly recommended its my Favorite place). Looking forward to going home this coming weekend and seeing everyone and spending time with family!

New Roommate

Well for the first time in my life i have an unwanted Roommate..a MOUSE!!! So, last night made it official with both me and ellen and our two neighbor boys (which are with us everyday) saw the little bugger scurry across the floor..more than once! A few days ago i was sitting on the couch, and out of the corner of my eye i THOUGHT i saw something, but didn't think much about it and figured it was just me, well i was wrong it was probably the mouse we all discovered lastnight! EW! Our neighbors had experienced this last semester so we took their traps and put some peanut butter on them, hopefully we get it, but i would rather not see it, once we catch it! It keeps going under our stove, which we first saw it because i started the stove to make chicken nuggets, so we probably almost fried it! Anyways, Last night me and one of the nieghbor boys (brandon) went bowling at coffman for FREE, who can turn that down. It was sponsored by Shade( a group who promotes safe sex) and whenever you got a strike or spare you won a safe sex price. Possible job opportunity working at ARC, which is working with disabled adults, there is a lot entailed with it and training, just hoping if i get it there is not tooooo much butt wiping! Looking forward to celebrating Singles Awareness Day Saturday with other singles and of course still going to go support the Gopher Hockey Team at night, hopefully we can turn things around! So..I Gave In

Not only is setting up this blog helping me procrastinate on homework, but i also thought i should fit in with the family and have a blog as well. I am just trying to figure it out so bare with me here until i get it set up! I hope my daily blogging will entertain you as you see and hear about my college life!
